Battery Storage and Solar for KOVOPLAST

Challenge

KOVOPLAST wanted to maximize the use of its own solar power in production, instead of selling surplus energy back to the grid on unfavorable terms.

The storage system had to be designed to efficiently capture solar surplus and release it back into production as needed.

Solution

We supplied and installed a 231 kWp solar system together with a 66 kW / 153 kWh battery storage system.

The storage system captures solar surplus and releases it back into operations whenever the solar array isn't generating enough.
