In line with the requirements for the quality of products and services provided, occupational health and safety, environmental protection, information security and confidentiality, as well as social and anti-corruption rules and legal and other requirements, IBG Česko s.r.o. places great emphasis on managing its suppliers.
The company’s management hereby declares this Supplier Policy, based on the principle of cooperating with reputable and vetted business partners. As part of the Supplier Policy, suppliers are required in particular to:
Business ethics and binding requirements
- Fulfil contractual obligations, comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and conduct business in a fair and ethical manner within the framework of applicable competition rules.
- Respect the Code of Ethics of IBG Česko s.r.o., as well as other internal rules.
Quality of products and services
- Manage risks and opportunities that may affect the quality of the products and services provided.
- Monitor the performance of their own suppliers and place emphasis on compliance with the established requirements.
- Apply corrective measures to any identified non-conformities in order to eliminate them and prevent recurrence.
Qualification and professional competence
- Ensure the required competence and qualification of their employees, as well as other staff.
- Maintain the awareness of employees and other staff of the established requirements and binding obligations.
Information security
- Maintain the availability and confidentiality of information, observe confidentiality, protect personal data and process it in accordance with the requirements of legal and other regulations.
- Manage risks and opportunities that may affect information security.
Environmental protection
- Ensure the economical use of resources and sustainability, reduce energy consumption and the amount of waste produced, and consistently prevent pollution.
- Consistently separate the individual components of waste arising from their operations, including their environmentally sound disposal.
Occupational health and safety
- Ensure appropriate occupational health and safety conditions for employees and other staff, and apply preventive measures to prevent possible injuries and damage to health.
- Support the active participation of employees in addressing occupational health and safety matters.
Social responsibility
- Treat all employees and other staff with dignity and respect, and exclude all forms of discrimination, unequal treatment, harassment, or cruel or inhuman behaviour.
- Comply with legislative requirements regarding working hours, taking leave, overtime and public holidays.
- Employ staff only on the basis of contracts concluded in accordance with applicable legislation, pay them the agreed wage, and properly make social security and health insurance contributions.
- Not use any form of child labour or forced labour, and ensure increased protection of minor employees, pregnant employees, breastfeeding employees and employees who are mothers up to the end of the ninth month after childbirth from performing hazardous and prohibited work.
Anti-corruption principles
- Not permit the direct or indirect offering, paying, soliciting or accepting of any inappropriate payments, such as bribes or unlawful rewards, in any form.
- Avoid conflicts of interest between the private activities of employees or other staff and the activities carried out as part of their work duties.
- Comply with all local requirements and limits, as well as the requirements of business partners, regarding the reporting and giving of gifts and hospitality.
- Apply principles that help detect suspicious activity, including money laundering and terrorist financing.
- Record and report all business transactions accurately and honestly in the accounts, in accordance with legislative requirements.
This policy is binding on all contractual suppliers, who undertake to comply with the established requirements. If a breach of the rules of this policy is identified, the supplier is obliged to inform the Purchasing Director of IBG Česko s.r.o.
This policy was discussed and approved by the company’s management in Kralupy nad Vltavou on 1 September 2024.
