ČEZ was looking for a battery storage system for the Tušimice power plant that could provide grid ancillary services at large scale, with a strong emphasis on operational safety.
The project was one of the first of this scale in the Czech Republic, which placed high demands on fire protection and climate control of the containerized solution.
Solutions
Solution
We delivered a battery storage system with 4,000 kW of installed power and 2,800 kWh of capacity, built on lithium-ion NMC cells in an NEC container.
The system is controlled by AEROS® software and is equipped with its own fire suppression system and climate control units for safe year-round operation.
