Traction Batteries and Charging Infrastructure for Škoda Auto

Challenge

For its material handling and industrial equipment across two production plants, Škoda Auto needed a reliable, long-term sustainable source of traction batteries without having to manage their servicing and renewal itself.

A scale exceeding three and a half thousand batteries and 144 charging points required a standardized life-cycle management process across both locations.

Solution

We set up a long-term project for 2014–2030, delivering 3,607 traction batteries on a full-service rental basis and building 144 charging points in Mladá Boleslav and Kvasiny.

This includes a charging control system and ongoing battery life-cycle management, so Škoda Auto doesn't have to handle servicing or fleet renewal itself.
