TWIN Diesel Generators for Veolia at Třebovice Power Plant

Challenge

Veolia needed to strengthen backup power at its Třebovice power plant in Ostrava with high power density in a limited footprint.

A TWIN configuration (two engines in one unit) was meant to maximize installed power without requiring additional footprint.

Solution

We delivered 7 Fogo FD 1320ST diesel generator units in TWIN configuration, i.e. with a total of 14 engines, with a total installed power of 7.238 MW.

The TWIN configuration made it possible to achieve high power on the compact footprint of the Třebovice power plant.
