Energy Storage

Energy storage that pays for itself.

We design and build battery storage or ultracapacitor systems to optimize your electricity use. Use the stored energy for peak shaving, grid stabilization, reactive power compensation, frequency regulation, or to manage your imbalance settlement.

What it is

Industrial Energy Storage — a second life for EV batteries.

Industrial Energy Storage (IES) is our own energy storage system, built from EV batteries that are no longer suitable for powering a vehicle but still offer high capacity for stationary storage. IES was developed in cooperation with Škoda Auto — extending battery life, reducing waste, and lowering environmental impact.

IES battery storage is ideal for storing surplus solar energy, backing up operations, optimizing quarter-hour peak demand, reducing reserved capacity, island-mode operation, and black-start support. We offer three power ratings (110 kW, 140 kW, 210 kW) in a compact footprint.

For large-scale projects in the MW/MWh range, we also supply containerized FlexCube and FlexCombo 2.0 storage systems from Cubenergy (a BloombergNEF Tier 1 manufacturer, with 100+ projects delivered across Europe) — built on liquid-cooled LFP cells with an independent one-inverter-per-battery-rack architecture, so a single segment failure only means a gradual drop in output, not a shutdown. Usable depth of discharge (DoD) of up to 100%.

Up to CZK 1,900,000 per year

Participation in power balancing services and energy trading (max. 3 cycles per day / 650 cycles per year).

Up to CZK 560,000 per year

Reduced reserved capacity for MV connections — by up to 210 kW.

60% lower charging costs

Fast-charging EVs combined with solar power costs significantly less than a public charging station.

A second life for batteries

EV batteries from Škoda Auto get a second career — less waste, lower environmental impact.

When you need it

Does this sound like you?

If even one of these situations applies to you, storage is likely to pay off. Let's run the numbers.

01

High reserved-capacity charges

Storage covers peak loads and lowers your quarter-hour maximum, so you pay for less reserved capacity.

02

Outages threaten production

Island-mode operation and black-start support keep critical operations running even during a grid outage.

03

Surplus solar power

Store the energy generated during the day and use it in the evening, instead of selling it to the grid at a low price.

04

Fast-charging electric vehicles

Combined with solar power, you can cut fast-charging costs for your fleet by more than 60% compared to a public charging station.

It depends on your tariff and consumption profile. Participation in power balancing services can bring in up to CZK 1.9 million a year, and reduced reserved capacity up to CZK 560,000 a year. We calculate a precise estimate from your actual data.
IES (Industrial Energy Storage) is our system built on EV batteries past their first life cycle — their capacity is no longer sufficient to power a car, but they remain fully capable for stationary storage. Developed in cooperation with Škoda Auto.
Yes, all IES ratings support island-mode operation and black start.
Battery storage qualifies under OP TAK and other funding programs. We identify the right program and handle the application for you.
Three ratings — 110 kW, 140 kW, and 210 kW — all in a compact container footprint.
